Add 3D and MOTION to Packaging with LENSTARFLEXOTM
Printers and converters can now manufacture 3D and Motion images for labels, packaging and other smaller format applications using lenticular flexographic printing.
Pacur, an ISO 9001 certified custom extruder of lenticular, is now offering LenstarFlexo as rollstock suitable for flexographic printing. Coupled with the Pixalen Studio, a lenticular prepress provider that utilizes the KodakFlexcel NX plate making system, flexographic lenticular is now a reality.
Until recently, 3-D and motion effects couldn’t be achieved with the flexographic process. But now, creating shelf impact in retail stores can move the consumer to purchase the product with the lenticular image. The list ofpossible retail applications is varied, including health and beauty, pharmaceutical, toys and games, consumer electronics, housewares and appliances, to name just a few.
