Considering that there was a gap between 3D 20 LPI and 40 LPI sheets so we decided to create this new lens design, encouraged by some 3D photographers. The new lens design is a 3D 28 LPI UV-MF.
Like our 3D 20 LPI UV-LF, this new lens has been designed with photographers for photographers !
— 3D as it’s designed for 3 dimensional images with a viewing angle of 37° like our 3D 20 LPI UV-LF.
— 28 LPI as this lens design does not exist anywhere in the World. — UV as it is produced in PETG-UV like the 3D 20 LPI UV-LF. PETG-UV allows to use the product indoor and outdoor ! — MF for Medium Format as we recommend this lens for smaller image sizes like 1m or 1.2 meter high. — Thickness is 2.15mm — Like our 3D 20 LPI UV-LF, the new lens is produced in Europe.
DPL’s 3D 28 LPI UV-MF is a 2.15 mm thick lenticular lens produced in 122 cm x 180 cm and available in many sizes, see below. This lens has a 37°viewing angle, making it very well suited for 3D lenticular applications printed on digital devices. The material has been extruded with a specially developed UV protection resin to preserve colors when used in outdoor conditions such as bus shelters. PETG-UV allows a much better transparency than other resins like PS…

See more information below. The 3D 28 LPI UV-MF 122 cm x 180 cm sheets are packaged in boxes of 10 sheets and palletized with a maximum of 150 sheets (15 Boxes) per pallet. Available from DPLenticular’s warehouse and even from 1 sheet or smaller sheet sizes (see our small quantities). Both sides of the product are protected with a transparent liner, don’t forget to pull it off before use !

In the case of outdoor use or in a place prone to solar radiation, the sheet must be installed with the lenticular face towards any solar radiation. Optical Properties After ten years our 3D 28 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to solar radiation and normal weather conditions, have a light transmission value not more than ten (10) units lower than at the time of delivery. Light transmission is measured in accordance with the Standard ASTM D 1003 on cleaned sheets, free of scratches. After ten years the 3D 28 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to solar radiation and normal weather conditions, have a yellowness value not more than ten (10) units higher than at the time of delivery. The yellowness value (yellowness index) is measured in accordance with the Standard ASTM E 313-98 on cleaned sheets, free of scratches. Mechanical Properties After ten years, the 3D 28 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to sun radiation and normal weather conditions, have a Young’s Modulus of e ≥ 1900 MPa. The Young’s Modulus is measured in accordance with the Standard ISO 527-1,2 on standard specimen bodies.
