New product in the Antwerp warehouse and in Vienna! Good news for the large format 3D printing business! Our new 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lenticular sheet just arrived in the warehouse. The new lens has a thickness of 3 mm and is designed for the production of 3D lenticular images on digital printers (flatbed printing direct to the lens or lamination). We do not recommend this product for animation effects.
Since we introduced the 40 LPI, we received more and more inquiries for a thicker lenticular lens (20 LPI) from large format printers, also we saw many offset printers adding digital printers to their offset presses. We initiated the development of this new 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lens, as a result of these inquiries.
DPL’s 3D 20 LPI UV-LF is a 3 mm thick lenticular lens of 122 cm x 180 cm with a viewing angle of 37 degrees, making it very well suited for 3D lenticular applications printed on digital devices.
The material has been extruded with a specially developed UV protection resin to preserve colors when used in outdoor conditions such as railway stations or bus shelters. See more information below.
The 3D 20 LPI UV-LF material is now available in small pre-packed batches of 10 sheets from DPLenticular’s warehouse in Antwerp and even from 1 piece from Finze selling small quantities in Vienna.

In the case of outdoor use or in a place prone to solar radiation, the sheet must be installed with the lenticular face towards any solar radiation.
After ten years our 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to solar radiation and normal weather conditions, have a light transmission value not more than ten (10) units lower than at the time of delivery. Light transmission is measured in accordance with the Standard ASTM D 1003 on cleaned sheets, free of scratches.
After ten years the 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to solar radiation and normal weather conditions, have a yellowness value not more than ten (10) units higher than at the time of delivery. The yellowness value (yellowness index) is measured in accordance with the Standard ASTM E 313-98 on cleaned sheets, free of scratches.
After ten years, the 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lens will, as a direct and exclusive result of exposure to sun radiation and normal weather conditions, have a Young’s Modulus of e ≥ 1900 MPa. The Young’s Modulus is measured in accordance with the Standard ISO 527-1,2 on standard specimen bodies.
