IST has revolutionised lamp technology from Nürtingen and offers a solution for the new printing ink regulation with the patented FREEcure system. This system reduces the use of photoinitiators to a minimum – the plus point in the production of low-migration inks for sensitive products and packaging. Not only improved curing results, but also a reduced number of dryers make our FREEcure system fit for the future in terms of energy savings.
In addition, SMARTcure is our innovative AI-supported curing assistant, which determines the ‘optimum instead of maximum’ principle for specific applications and controls the dryer ideally based on the parameters from the pre-press stage – for a revolutionary UV curing process.
