The 2017 edition of the IST UV Days in Nürtingen (close to Stuttgart) saw the highest number of visitors ever recorded for the event as almost 1000 people came to see the very latest in UV technologies, mainly the very promising LED-UV.
Many visitors were interested in our lenticular booth showing the new Motion 20 LPI UV-LF. Also we were showing samples printed on 3D 20 LPI UV-LF, 3D 28 LPI UV-MF, 62 LPI Lenstar, 3D 100 LPI Lenstar, 40 LPI Lenstar, 75 LPI Lenstar and Ecolens, 150 LPI Lenstar, as well as MicroLux and cups produced by Dynamic Drinkware.
DP Lenticular also participated in a panel discussion organized by the Deutsche Drucker.

20 April 2017 – DP Lenticular has launched Motion 20 LPI UV-LF, Europe’s first large format Motion lens lenticular sheet designed and extruded in Europe.
Developed for large format Motion images such as zoom, morphing and a variety of animation pictures Motion 20 LPI UV-LF is perfect for outdoor uses such as bus shelters. It is also ideal for indoor applications in airports, underground and railway stations.
Motion 20 LPI UV-LF with excellent transparency and surface brightness, has a wide viewing angle of 54° and a thickness of 1.95 mm.
It is suitable for the production of animation lenticular images on digital printers and flatbed printers direct to the lens or via lamination. It can be finished on an automatic cutting table, manual cutting machine or a flatbed laser plotter.
The latest portfolio addition joins DP Lenticular’s 3D 20 LPI UV-LF and 3D 28 LPI UV-MF. The animation lens has been extruded with a specially developed UV protection resin to preserve colors when used in outdoor conditions. It eliminates any yellowing of the plastic for many years.
The resin has also been fire tested to ensure it is within the regular norms for indoor use. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications aiding consistency and flexibility of use.
DP Lenticular’s founder and managing director Daniel Pierret comments: “This is a great new lens design created to support a broader range of high quality end uses. Many things have improved since we initiated the development of the new 3D 20 LPI UV-LF lens. With our production partners, we have built a wealth of experience in the extrusion of large format lenticular materials.”
DPL’s Motion 20 LPI UV-LF lenticular sheet is 122 cm x 180 cm. Uniquely, each sheet is individually inspected from top to bottom for quality control to ensure any deviation is within strict tolerances.
“Quality control is a crucial part of our service delivery,” adds Pierret. “We have a good overview of production to ensure we meet our strict quality requirements.”
The large format sheets are packaged in boxes of 10 sheets and palletized with 100 sheets per pallet although different sizes and volumes are available on request. Order flexibility is supported by a recently installed cutting device that allows sheets to be cut into on demand sizes. This includes a 100 cm by 100 cm sheet which is expected to be a particularly popular option for customer testing. This can be ordered online at dplenticular.com.

27 marzo 2017 – DP Lenticular ha presentato Motion 20 LPI UV-LF, il primo foglio lenticolare con lente Motion per grandi formati europeo progettato ed estruso in Europa.
Sviluppato per immagini Motion di grande formato come zoom, morphing e una serie di immagini per animazione, Motion 20 LPI UV-LF è ideale per gli utilizzi in esterni, come ad esempio le pensiline delle fermate degli autobus. Inoltre, è ideale per applicazioni destinate a interni come aeroporti, metropolitana e stazioni ferroviarie.
Motion 20 LPI UV-LF, che vanta un’eccellente trasparenza e lucentezza superficiale, ha un ampio angolo di visualizzazione di 54° e uno spessore di 1,95 mm.
È adatto per la produzione di immagini lenticolari di animazione con stampanti digitali e flatbed, direttamente sulla lente o tramite laminazione. La finitura può essere eseguita su una piattaforma da taglio automatica, con una taglierina manuale o con un plotter laser flatbed.
L’ultima novità del portafoglio si va ad aggiungere ai prodotti di DP Lenticular 3D 20 LPI UV-LF e 3D 28 LPI UV-MF.
